Hope to meet you at the 3rd IIZC,2012 at Arak University
Following to the first Iran International Zeolite Conference (IIZC, 2008) that was successfully held at AmirKabir University (Tehran Poly-Technique), Saman Pajouhan Aria Gostar Zeolite Research and Development group (SPAG); on behalf of the Science&Technology Park of Tehran University organized the 2nd Iran International Zeolite Conference (IIZC, 2010). The conference was held as a two days conference on April 29-30, 2010 at Tehran University in Tehran, Iran.
With the excellent involvement of colleagues working in areas of zeolite sciences and technologies, the IIZC, 2010 organizing committee received more than 180 abstracts from 8 countries, in which the scientific committee has accepted 140 papers for presentation as orals and posters.
The papers were subdivided into various thematic sessions going from the genesis and synthesize of materials to their properties and applications through their characterization.The evaluation was possible through the timely and efficient refereeing by the members of the International Advisory Board as well as the National Scientific Refereeing Committee.
The Organizing Committee has arranged 1 plenary lectures,2 keynote lectures and 32 oral presentations in several separate sessions on Modification and characterization,Environmental applications& implications,Catalysis,Adsorption and molecular sieve,Ion exchange,Host-guest chemistry,Synthesis and Preparation of porous materials,MOF ( Metal organic Framework),Mesoporous materials,MMMs(Mix Matrix Membrane),Natural zeolites and also two poster presentation sessions.
The Book of Abstracts of the 2nd Iran International Zeolite Conference was published and it contains the extended abstracts of all accepted contributions presented at the IIZC,2010 and it was also published in soft copy in the form of CD, where as the received full texts were published in a CD. The scientific committee IIZC, 2010 dose not distinguishes between the oral and poster presentations at the IIZC, 2010. Because of tough and precise refereeing procedure, it has ensured that the quality of Oral and Poster papers accepted for presentation at IIZC, 2010 are equivalent.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all those researchers who submitted papers for the IIZC, 2010 and all those in the international zeolite community, who spent their precious time reviewing the abstracts.
Among several requests for hosting the 3rd IIZC,2012 ,organizing and scientific committiees of IIZC proudly announce that because of excellent supporting and involvement of Arak University ,the 3rd IIZC,2012 will be held at Arak University .
Before concluding, we would like to address our special and grateful acknowledgement to all our colleagues in SPAG as well as all of graduate students of different Iranian universities for their outstanding involvement all along the conference organization.
